  my group and I went to Beaufort for vacation, and when we walked in the hostess smiled and welcomed us, found us a table and our waitress was soooo nice. Now we looked like a bunch of country bumpkins and they all looked at us weird, but our waitress was soooo incredibly nice to us, and the food, was very fancy, and VERY good. We didn't plan on getting dessert, but we did anyway, and that was I great decision. We all had a great experience. Even though it was a bit pricey, I'll defiantly be returning. And I do recommend making reservations, it's a small restaurant.

  Hostess was snobby and put a damper on our experience. First impressions count. Our waitress, however, was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and very good but nothing spectacular. There are better places to eat in Beaufort.

  We live an hour or so away from Blue Moon so only get here every year or so but ALWAYS find a consistent level of quality in all facets of fine dining. The seafood and all food is fresh and the wine list approachable. We love the atmosphere and interacting with our server. We enjoyed a wonderful meal last night and loved the scallops appetizer and the grouper entre. We even asked to move to a table across the room for a fuller visual of the atmosphere of the room and were readily accommodated. Blue Moon is always one of our favorite dining getaways and Allison our server and the entire staff made it memorable!
